-Vocal Workshop with Fiona Funnell;

We had a great workshop wih Fiona Funnell on Thursday 6th May. We learnt lots of part songs, and many of them had funky dance moves!!!

Kathryn is in charge of Southampton Young Singers on the West of the city. She has been singing since she made her solo debut at her nursery nativity play, aged 2 and hasn't looled back since!

She is in her fifth year as a music teacher, and is extremely passionate about all aspects of singing.  She is a talented singer and sings as a soloist as well as parts of bands/groups. Her main musical passion, however, is songwriting. She writes regularly and has written material for numerous choirs , music groups and soloists. 

Kathryn is so proud to be working with the choir because they are fabulous and can go on to do great things!

Outside singing and music Kathryn enjoys reading, cooking andl going to the theatre!

 Kathryn is ably assisted by Mr Graham Kidd, accompanist of Singers West. Cheers Graham!! Singers East meets at St Monicas Junior school, Sholing, every Wednesday from 3.45-4.45. It is run by Christine Ward and Libby Nash.
